Located in the north of Santa Catarina Island on the lush Santinho beach and surrounded by dunes, coasts, trails, and archaeological sites, Costão do Santinho is a complete tourism complex offering dozens of fresh activities all year round. Favored by nature – it encompasses 750,000 m2 (185 acres) of Atlantic Rainforest and more than 200,000 m2 (50 acres) of constructed area – it offers its guests a world class service, sophisticated cuisine, spa, and a variety of leisure options including a golf course, sports and nautical complex, and the largest ensemble of indoors – outdoors thermal pools in Brazil.

Such structure has led Costão to be awarded the Best Beach Resort in Brazil by Guia 4 Rodas Magazine in 2006 and by Viagem e Turismo Magazine five times in a row between 2005 and 2009.

Caring for the environment is a priority in all activities carried out by Costão. We aim at ecological solutions for all waste produced in the resort, including reforesting initiatives, state-of-the-art sewage treatment system, a solid waste screening center, and a 100 percent water reuse, in addition to educational programs for students to increase ecological awareness. Our care extends to the local fishermen community, providing structure and support for artisan fishing.
